Packing up and leaving for China to lead a professional life as a teacher – haven’t thought about it, but intrigued?
Participants teach English 20-25 hours a week in a Chinese primary or secondary school and are paid a monthly stipend for their work, in addition to receiving free housing and most meals. This is a great opportunity to live in China for 4-5 months to one year and enjoy both cultural and linguistic exchange! For more details, please click here.
This program is open to any college graduate who is between the ages of 21-50 years old and has a TEFL certificate or two full years of teaching experience. (For those participants without a TEFL certificate or sufficient teaching experience, a 120-hour online TEFL course is available for an additional fee.) This program offers a budget-friendly way for study abroad alumni, teachers, or professionals to enrich their personal lives while gaining teaching experience abroad. It begins with a multi-day on-site orientation in Beijing, and teachers may be placed in schools throughout cities and towns in the following Chinese provinces: Guangdong, Jiangsu, Sichuan or Zhejiang.
